The Anchor is searching for enthusiastic Smoke Master to join our team. An overview of your responsibilities are listed below. 

Responsibilities:

  • Makes guest service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect
  • Responsible for the execution and craft of the smoked meats
  • Trains, coaches and mentors’ employees on proper smoking techniques
  • Make recommendations on new menu items to upper management
  • Supervises and directs a team of Pit Crew employees
  • Administer the schedule of Pit Crew employees
  • Create and implement new recipes
  • Receive all incoming merchandise, check quality and quantity and store goods in a proper place
  • Keep track of ingredient quantities and ensures sufficient supply for the day/week
  • Smokes, cuts and portions different types of meat according to specifications

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in similar scope – required
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs
  • BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
  • Must be able to relocate

Pay Information: Depends on Experience
